Hello Supporters,

We regretfully have to announce that we will fail to meet our September shipping deadline. 

Last week our partner factory in Ho Chi Minh City, VN was completely shut down for COVID related issues. Our product was scheduled to be completed at the end of July, we are being told that due to a reduction in staff prior to the shut down our production was unfortunately not completed. The shutdown will extend until Aug 15, at the earliest, and when they return it sounds like, social distancing staffing requirements will limit their work force.

Our first production run was placed in May 2020 during the early stages of the global pandemic. While we worked closely with them on producing our tents they never once used COVID as an excuse for delays. With this second production we trust that they are genuinely struggling with this virus and we will continue to gather updates and information as the situation progresses.

The news is reporting that Vietnam is currently experiencing a major influx of cases which is disturbing global supply chains for many industries and affecting huge brands such as Adidas and Nike. Our partner factory also produces products for North Face and Mountain Hardware who will also be feeling these consequences.  

At this time we have not been able to get a secured date on when product will be completed and with a 4+ week freight shipping time it is quite clear that we will not see product in our shop until Early October!

This is clearly not the news that any of us wanted to hear as it will mean, for many, that you will miss this camping season. If this new timeline does not meet your requirements we take responsibility and can offer a full refund!

We thank everyone for venturing with us as we deal with these issues. We are 100% committed to getting you, your tents and can't wait to see you on the trail when they finally arrive.
